The Sustainable Development Avenue of the Leo Club of University of Kelaniya has always aimed to conduct projects that would aid the betterment of the society. As a result, the project “NENASARA ATHWELA” has been continuing since 2020, with the objective of expanding the knowledge of O\L students and assist them to get higher grades in the upcoming G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination. It was planned to conduct the project in 2 phases for the term 22/23.

Phrase 01 was conducted as a 2-day Science seminar series on 23.11.2022 and 25.11.2022 at Viharamahadewi Junior School, Imbulgoda and at Vidyaloka College, Kadawatha. Undergraduates of University of Kelaniya prepared the model papers and conducted the seminar series successfully. Around 80 students were benefitted from the seminars.

The great success of the Phrase 01 of NENASARA ATHWELA was due to the tremendous support received from the beginning of the project. The leadership body, organizing committee, members of the avenue and all the undergraduates of the university who joined the project as teachers are to receive the credits for this successful outcome.
