Project දිය දහර

This project is a community-based environmental sustainability initiative that focuses on promoting the responsible use of energy and water resources, encouraging renewable energy adoption, and improving access to clean water, aiming to create long-term positive impacts on both the environment and local communities.

The project conducts targeted awareness programs to educate the public about sustainable practices. Street dramas in Colombo Fort highlight the importance of energy conservation in an engaging way. Interactive sessions in schools provide students with knowledge about sustainable energy practices. Informative flyers and social media campaigns are used to reach a broader audience and share key facts on energy conservation and resource protection. These initiatives foster behavioural change and encourage responsible energy usage.

In addition to awareness programs, the project implements direct community support interventions. Critical communities, such as those in Anuradhapura, receive water supply equipment to ensure access to clean and safe water. These interventions address urgent needs while promoting long-term environmental sustainability.

By combining education, outreach, and tangible support, the project fosters environmental responsibility and community well-being. It strengthens public understanding of renewable energy and water conservation. It encourages sustainable living practices across various social groups. Ultimately, the project seeks to create measurable, lasting benefits for both the environment and vulnerable communities.
