Welcome To Sustainable Development Avenue

The Sustainable Development Avenue of the Leo Club of the University of Kelaniya is committed to creating long-term positive social and environmental impact through meaningful, community-driven initiatives. We focus on promoting sustainable development by addressing key global challenges through awareness, empowerment, and action.

The avenue implements two main projects.
1. Project සස්තීර
  • Project සස්තීර is a continuous initiative that focuses on achieving Zero Hunger and No Poverty by strengthening the economic stability of communities through support programs and development activities.
2. Project හරිත පියමන්
  • Project හරිත පියමන් is dedicated to environmental sustainability by focusing on timely topics like climate actions, global warming reduction, and pollution management etc., and promoting conservation, waste management, and eco-friendly practices within society. Through these initiatives, the avenue aims to build a more sustainable, responsible, and resilient future for both people and the environment.
